The proposals

The plans for Nerrols will deliver:

• A new mixed-use community of around 630 new homes offering a broad mix of housing types, including family homes. As well as market housing, around 35% of the homes will be affordable
• Community facilities including a local centre for the benefit of existing and new residents offering opportunities for:
• Shops and other local retail.
• Employment, including live-work units.
• Cafe and public house.
• The planting of over 15,000 trees to enhance the setting of the development , and the landscaping of 40% of the site to create green open space along with a new linear country park;
• Extensive areas of informal and formal open space (including play areas) which will benefit young people;
• Funding for improvements to community facilities, including the expansion of local schools.
